There are some projects that, as a Designer, you get really excited about. And this kitchen remodel was one of them. One of my very dear friends who lives in German Village in Columbus Ohio, has a gorgeous older brick home. The kitchen was originally in the room next to this one and we decided it would be best two relocate the kitchen to this room.
The original hardwood floors were sanded down and refinished, and all new cabinetry and countertops were installed in a subtle warm ivory linen color. We added brass hardware, swing arm pendant lights and two gorgeous black windows to let in the natural light.
Floating shelves with vintage hardware and a custom stainless steel hood above a marble tile inlay finished off the space.
